Intimate Highland Park Wedding, Black Button Distilling SURPRISE Reception
Yes, you read that properly. One of my favorite couples wanted to have their wedding completely reflect who they are, and for them that meant hosting a SURPRISE wedding!
Amanda and Todd are amazingly fun, love to host parties for their closest family and friends, and could not imagine having a big wedding with all the fuss. When Amanda called me and explained what they planned on doing, I was immediately on board! What a fun way to start your lives together!
Amanda and Todd chose to have their ceremony at Highland Park in the Lamberton Conservatory with only their immediate family and Amanda’s best friend officiating. This little group were the only people aware that Amanda and Todd were getting married on April 8th!
Amanda and Todd are constantly laughing. The way the two of them interact is wonderful, making my job super easy. 🙂
We had some time between their intimate wedding and the SURPRISE wedding to get some gorgeous photos of just the two of them. They even took the time to be in the moment and have their first dance all alone in the Lamberton Conservatory. Can you think of anything more romantic?
I mean seriously, these two are the best!
Then it was time to head to Black Button Distillery to surprise the rest of their closest friends and family. Everyone had gathered under the guise of celebrating Amanda’s birthday. Todd and Amanda were super excited to freak them all out!
SURPRISE!!!!
This was by far one of the most unique weddings I’ve done. I love that they thought completely outside of the box, went with their hearts and had the wedding of their dreams.
Amanda and Todd, Happy One Year Anniversary! Here’s to many more adventures!
