Buffalo History Museum Wedding, Buffalo, New York
Sometimes everything comes together perfectly. Like when you are referred to a couple by a friend and they turn out to be absolutely perfect. When you find people that are deeply in love, creating a fun and beautiful celebration in a place they spend a lot of time in, surrounded by people who love and adore them, you know you’re incredibly lucky to be a wedding photographer. This was definitely one of those weddings.

Marc and Jeff had been dating for 11 years when they finally decided it was time to take the plunge and get married. They incorporated so many parts of themselves into their wedding, understanding that this was a celebration of who they are as a couple and their next big adventure.
They chose to get married at a location walking distance to their home. The Buffalo History Museum is located in Delaware Park, adjacent to the Japanese Garden. A stunning location on any given day, and the perfect location for a celebration like this! We started the day in their beautiful Buffalo home, with their closest friends, and of course their pup Bella, at their sides.
After toasting in their backyard, we walked over to The Buffalo History Museum to continue the celebrations. It was so wonderful walking a path with Marc and Jeff that they take on an almost daily basis. What a perfect place to celebrate their love!
The ceremony was perfect! Stunning florals from Williams Florist lined the steps where the ceremony took place. Marc and Jeff’s suits from Bureau Made in Buffalo were meticulously designed and looked amazing on them.
I always ask people to be present on their wedding day, from the couple, to their wedding party, to their friends and families. Be present, enjoy the moments, revel in your loved ones love story. And when I get photos like the one below, I am reminded of why I do what I do. Look at the joy in their friends face as she watches Marc and Jeff walk by after saying their vows. Her joy is palpable! She is absolutely in the moment. It’s overwhelmingly beautiful!

Jeff and Marc danced the night away in an amazing party with their friends and family. It was the perfect day. I can not wait to do this again with more people celebrating their love and their next adventures in life together!

I was incredibly fortunate to have this wedding feature in LoveInc Mag. I am thrilled to be a part of an inclusive community, who believes, as I do, that Love is Love.
