Cate and Nick. Nick and Cate. What can I say about these two? I am fortunate to become friends with so many of my clients. And it has been my great joy to get to know these two. They are two of the loveliest, sweetest, funniest, most adorable people I have ever had the opportunity to meet, let alone call my friends. We met and immediately hit it off. We enjoyed several wedding prep sessions and found a mutual love for craft beer and sarcasm. Peanut Butter Porter!!!! Cate is sincerely one of most adorable women I have ever laid eyes on. She reminds me of Lillian Gish, the silent film star who captured the hearts of so many. Cate does the same. You can’t help but love her once you’ve met her.
Starting my day with the girls was a blast! So much laughter, silliness and smiles! And what could be a better stress reliever than jumping for joy on the bed? And yes, that is a kitten shoe Cate and Nick’s gorgeous rings are set atop of. 😉

Watching Cate’s face when she looked at Nick brought tears to my eyes. These two are so in love, so supportive of each other. I adore Westminster. The staff is amazing to work with and the area just behind is stunning! You’d never know we weren’t in the middle of a huge park. Can you get over that lace parasol? Or those gorgeous flowers and headpiece by Stacy K Floral? Or the way Nick is always kissing Cate’s head? Or the way her tattoo perfectly compliments the lace of her dress? Swoon.

Their Ceremony was full of personalized moments, like when Cate’s brother played his guitar and sang, bringing everyone to tears. And I’m fairly certain they had the cutest flower girl with a fairy wand ever!

Their reception was perfect! Westminster does an amazing job. The food was fabulous (the vegan shepherds pie was phenomenal!). The naked cake with lavender and sage accents by Scratch Bakeshop was not only beautiful, but delicious too. They ended their night with a sparkler send off. What’s not to love?
